Personal Reflection (Sarimbun Scout Camp)

What are the three main points (or more) that you had learnt from all the activities?

I had learnt that we must cooperate to achieve our full potential as a team and that teamwork is very important.

How can all these pointers be of help to you?

During the time where we had to make a raft, all of us cooperated to building the raft, some held the sticks, some tied the ropes, some secure the tyres and i felt everyone had played a part which resulted in a fantastic outcome. For teamwork, it was important during the night hike. If the people in front actually thought of only themselves and pass the obstacle without passing the message behind, the people behind will have no idea of whatever that was coming their way.

If you were to have another chance to try out all the activities, which one will you choose? Why?

I would want to try the flying fox. I had not done it during P5 camp because of time constrain and this time the same thing happened.

If there was one thing you would like to change in yourself, what would it be?

I would like to try to participate more in certain activities like the making of the flag, I did not participate but I just sat down and gave some ideas. I did not really like the way that some part of the team knew everything while the other just have to follow and do nothing.
